One Response to “Teacher Preparation Matters!”

  1. Julie McCann says:

Until we address the issue of race in teacher preparation, all the work we do around curriculum and teaching initiatives will fall short of the mark. Teacher preparation must have skilled facilitators who are able to hold the space for difficult converations around race and white identity. It is not happening and it is a major source of concern and an undiscussable in educational circles. We white people must step into this difficult conversation and be willing to be learners.
